1. When I do a search in the Online Directory, will it also search in the garage sale listings, marketplace, market/event listings, and freebies?

No, these are actually two separate databases. The Online Directory only allows you to search the store listings in that section. However, the garage sale listings, market/event listings, marketplace, and the freebies are all part of one database called the classifieds. When you search this section, you will be searching all sections in this area.

2. When I set up an account for the Online Directory, does this mean I have an account in the other classifieds section?

Again, because these are two separate databases you will need to register twice. But you can use the same User ID and password for both.

3. Is there a cost to post an ad for the garage sale listings, marketplace, and market/event listings?

No, these are all part of a free service offered by the site. We just ask that you take the time to manage your posting and remove it when dates have passed or the item has sold. Remember, you can also post a photo with your listing at no cost.

4. I would like to add a photo to my posting and wondered if there are any specific tricks to doing this?

The process is pretty straightforward for both the Online Directory listings and the Classified listings. Once you have created your ad you can then load the photo immediately by following the guidelines or you can do it later. If you prefer to load the photo later, you just need to click the proper directory and then choose Edit Ads--Log In--and then click Add Photo. It is important to keep in mind that it is best to save your photo as a .jpg file and that the resolution should be no greater than 72, otherwise the image will be too large to load onto our system. It is better to have a file size no larger than approximately 150000 bytes, and have a width no greater than 500 pixels and a height no greater than 500 pixels.
