Firmly entrenched as part of the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood, Burcu's Angels specializes in vintage clothing for both men and women and describe their clothing as "coloured, textured, fine magic." Although known for having a wide selection of clothing from 70s they prefer clothing from the turn of the century to the 50s. They also carry accessories such as shoes, jewellery, purses, and hats. They generally do not do consignment as they do their own purchasing, but they will trade or offer store credit.
Another local favourite in Mount Pleasant, Echo Unique Resale carries
vintage, retro, and contemporary clothing for both men and women. They
also have accessories such as shoes, hats, and jewellery, and have a
good selection of leathers and costumes. The store also carries housewares,
linens, and collectibles. They will do some consignment but prefer to
trade or offer store credit. Rentals are also available.
Although Eugene Choo mainly sells their own design label, they do carry some vintage clothing and reconstructed vintage for both men and women. Accessories include jewellery, cuff links for men, andwatches. They do not do any consignment as they have their own label and buy outright from pickers.
Specializing in men and women's secondhand designer clothing, Front also has a small selection of vintage clothing. Legends has been in operation for over 20 years and specializes in vintage clothing for both men and women from the 1950s and up. They carry a wide selection of accessories including hats, shoes, gloves, jewellery, and glasses. They do offer consignment, but call them directly for details.
Located in the heart of Mid Main, Lines carries both contemporary and vintage clothing for men and women. They also have children's clothing and accessories such as hats, shoes, jewellery, and vintage purses. They also have a lot of stock in their back room that they will bring out on special request. They do offer consignment with 50% going to the client.
This store is also located in Mid Main and specializes in what they call "rec room chic", items from the 60s to the 80s. They carry women's clothing, furniture, collectibles, and accessories such as glasses and jewellery. They also have their own house design label of reworked vintage fabricÑthe Mod to Modern label.
